Good cast, though the main character, played by Dougie Henshall does mumble a lot. I like Susan Hill too but this was so slow, and the characters seemed colourless. A ghost story needs much more atmosphere, it needs to be chilling, not just some odd things happening. The viewers should feel frightened rather than puzzled.
